. The USB to IrDA Adapter should appear under both

Infrared Devices and Modems (click on the + sign to display all configured modems). See the

example screen below.

NOTE:

If the Adapter doesn’t show up under Modems, move it away from the meter for a minute

and then position it pointing at the IrDA, again.

Standard Modem over IR link

(this is the USB to IrDA Adapter). You will

see the

screen for the Adapter.
